I recently moved into a new house with a bigger room, and have been looking for a new desk to optimize my workspace. While searching for animation desks, I ran into some inspiring pictures of my favorite animators and what their workspaces looked like.

Here's a skull I did with charcoal... I don't know if I like the paper texture so much but I like everything else.

I've set a goal for myself to complete 1 sketchbook a month. I still need to post some of the drawings from the one I just finished, but I've been so busy I haven't gotten to it. For now, here's a charcoal drawing I did from life a few months ago. I didn't like it at first but I've grown more fond of it recently. 

I took the train back to LA from comic con and sat next to an unfriendly art director so I drew the unsuspecting passengers around me to pass the time. Unfortunately I am too lazy to scan the drawings, so here are some older sketches instead.

My first post

So I finally decided to make an art blog! This blog will chronicle my growth throughout the next two years at Art school.

So to start this off, I guess I'll attach some layouts I did for an animation I've been working on. :)
